Dark ruby colour with a black core. Truly enchanting expression of the varietal fruit. Light in robe, yet scintillatingly spicy. Blackcurrant nose, damson fruit and sweet black cherry in abundance on the palate, accompanied by vibrant spiciness. Lightly sappy tannins enliven the texture in its green capsicum, pepper and nutmeg finish. Best consumed at 15°C to get the perfect balance of fruit and maturation notes.
Good with black pudding, offal dishes, dark chocolate.
